Hey ya’ll!! Serious post here… We love our Farmer Joe who runs our Vogt Spot Farmers Market! We are asking all of our praying followers to please lift up our Farmer Joe’s health to the good Lord if you think about it today and tomorrow. Joe will be undergoing heart bypass surgery tomorrow morning. Prognosis is 100% recovery (yayay!!!) but he’ll likely be out for a few more weeks.
Our Farmers Market has had a very rough start this year. During our very first week, Joe fell and broke his hip and ended up having a hip replacement and spending a couple of weeks in the hospital. He was back with us last week but is now in the hospital again for round 2 of his medical saga…
Joe’s son, Chip, has been quite a trooper, stepping up to run the market for the first time while Joe is gone. It’s been a learning experience for everyone! Now that Joe’s absence is continuing longer than we first expected, Craig and I are helping out with training and running the market. We are working hard to get through this setback and back to the amazing fresh quality we all enjoyed the past two years when Vogt Spot Farmers Market was at JJs Market.
